Among those in attendance are the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State; Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State; Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State; Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State; Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State; Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State; Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State; and Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, whose presence marks a rare appearance at the council meeting.
The NEC meeting comes amid ongoing discussions on national economic policies, fiscal reforms and measures aimed at strengthening development across the states.
