The military said the operations, carried out between June 4 and June 11, 2026, targeted terrorists, kidnappers, arms traffickers, oil thieves and other criminal elements threatening national peace and security.
In a statement issued by the Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Michael Onoja, troops operating under various joint task forces recorded successes across the North-East, North-West, North-Central, South-East and South-South regions.
In the North-East, troops under Operation HADIN KAI intensified offensives against Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters, arresting several suspected informants and logistics suppliers across Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States.
The military said the suspects were found with items such as agro-chemicals, communication equipment, narcotics, food supplies and other materials allegedly meant for terrorist operations.
Troops also recovered a PKT machine gun, over 1,070 rounds of ammunition, motorcycles and other combat-related items during clearance missions.
In the North-West, Operation FANSAN YAMMA troops intercepted an arms trafficking syndicate in Zamfara State, recovering over 1,000 rounds of ammunition hidden in a sack of millet, while arresting both the supplier and intended recipient.
Further operations in the same axis led to the arrest of eight additional suspects, with the recovery of radios, mobile phones, power banks, camouflage uniforms, motorcycles and other logistics equipment.
In Niger State, under Operation SAVANNAH SHIELD, troops arrested suspected terrorist informants and recovered mobile devices containing materials believed to be linked to extremist activities.
In Plateau State, troops of Operation ENDURING PEACE disrupted kidnapping networks through coordinated raids, rescuing abducted victims and recovering firearms, communication devices and cash linked to criminal operations.
Meanwhile, Operation WHIRL STROKE troops operating across Benue, Kogi and Taraba States recovered arms from fleeing criminals, rescued kidnapped victims and arrested a suspected member of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
A major breakthrough was recorded in the South-East under Operation UDO KA, where troops in collaboration with the Department of State Services uncovered a major arms cache linked to suspected IPOB and Eastern Security Network members in Enugu State.
Recovered weapons included a General Purpose Machine Gun, an RPG-7 launcher tube, AK-47 rifles, hand grenades and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
Follow-up operations also led to the recovery of additional rifles, magazines and suspected IPOB uniforms from another hideout within the state.
In the South-South, troops of Operation DELTA SAFE continued sustained operations against illegal oil bunkering syndicates, dismantling illegal refining sites and recovering stolen petroleum products across Rivers, Delta and Akwa Ibom States.
The Defence Headquarters said the successes reflect the effectiveness of intelligence-driven operations aimed at dismantling criminal and terrorist networks nationwide.
The Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, commended the troops for their professionalism and resilience, assuring Nigerians that the Armed Forces remain committed to safeguarding lives, property and the territorial integrity of the country.
