New details have emerged about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ life in prison after NBC News published a report featuring accounts from four inmates who described his experience behind bars.

According to the report by NBC News journalists Rich Schapiro and Chloe Melas, the inmates, who were granted anonymity to discuss prison life, claimed that Combs receives various forms of assistance from other inmates, including cooking, cleaning and laundry services.
The report also stated that some inmates provide him with additional services, including Chinese-style massages.
Combs, who is currently serving a 50-month prison sentence, was described by the sources as receiving treatment that they said was unusual compared with typical prison life.
One inmate told NBC News:
“This is not some normal s** you see in jail. This is some rich s—. It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”

The report also included claims from multiple sources that Combs has used contraband mobile phones to access social media platforms and view private images sent by a former partner.
The sources further claimed that he obtained the antidepressant medication Remeron, which some inmates refer to as “rem-roms,” and had access to premium alcohol on weekend nights.
One inmate said he drank Hennessy with Combs, stating:
“Hell yeah, I drank with him.”
According to NBC News, a spokesperson for Combs rejected the portrayal of his prison experience as unusual.
“The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news,” the spokesperson said.
“The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal.”
A spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons said the agency does not comment on individual inmates’ conditions due to privacy, safety and security reasons.
The spokesperson also acknowledged that contraband, including mobile phones, drugs and weapons, remains a challenge within correctional facilities.
The NBC News report further stated that sources claimed Combs spends thousands of dollars monthly through outside funds placed into other inmates’ commissary accounts in exchange for services.
According to the report, some inmates prepared special meals for him, including curry chicken, pizza and empanadas, using makeshift cooking methods available inside the facility.
One inmate who described preparing meals for Combs said:
“After a while, I got tired of cooking. He started going to the Jamaicans.”
The report also stated that some inmates help manage Combs’ phone access and fan mail.
One source described the amount of items he receives, saying:
“It’s so much that he gets……He doesn’t have room for it.”
