Puerto Rican social media star María Morales Tirado, popularly known as Doña Mami, has died at the age of 107.
The beloved grandmother reportedly passed away just three hours and 45 minutes after celebrating her 107th birthday.

Doña Mami, who was from Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, became known online after her grandson, Julio César Lebrón, began sharing videos of her on Facebook in 2017.
Her remarkable life included decades of farming, raising her children and caring for a large family. She continued working the land well into her 80s and 90s.

When she celebrated her 100th birthday in 2019, Doña Mami reflected on how she had spent her life.
“I’ve spent these 100 years working, not dancing, partying or drinking.
“I’ve raised my children, worked on the farm and eaten plenty of funche.”
Funche is a traditional Puerto Rican dish made from cornmeal.
Her grandson Julio César Lebrón had previously recalled seeing his grandmother “swinging the hoe with the energy of a 30-year-old” despite her advanced age.
Doña Mami also leaves behind a huge family. She had 48 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
Her death was announced by her son, Tony Morales, who paid tribute to his mother in an emotional message.
“Mami lived for 107 years, three hours and 45 minutes.
“At 3.45am, God decided it was time for her to go and reunite with Papi, Juana María, Toledo, her siblings, sons-in-law and so many other relatives who had gone before her.
“She left as she lived – on her own terms, peacefully.”
“Her life cannot be measured simply in years, because her true legacy lives on through the generations she left behind.
“We are the products of her sacrifice and descendants of a warrior.”
