Nollywood actress Tope Osoba has been buried in Ogun State following a funeral ceremony held in her honour on Thursday.
Her remains were taken from Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, to Akesan Club in Iperu Remo, where family, friends and colleagues gathered for the final rites.
She was later interred at the Iperu Remo Cemetery, with mourners dressed largely in white.
Several Nollywood personalities, including Foluke Daramola, Kunle Afod, Joke Jigan and Basira Badia, attended the funeral.
Osoba’s death was announced on August 5, 2026, nearly two years after she underwent surgery for breast cancer in November 2024.
Her family had initially scheduled her burial for August 13 but later postponed the ceremony to allow for further arrangements.
Following her death, reports and allegations circulated online over the circumstances surrounding her passing, including claims involving emotional distress and accusations against her fiancé, Itunu Onadeko, and members of his family.
