BREAKING: Hezbollah Chief Urges Lebanon to Reject ‘Free Concessions’ to Israel Ahead of Talks

According to a report by The Times of Israel, Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem has called on the Lebanese government to stop giving “free concessions” to Israel ahead of planned negotiations next week.

Qassem said Lebanon should not make unilateral concessions as the two sides prepare to begin talks in Washington next week. In a written message broadcast on Hezbollah’s Al-Manar television network, he warned against what he described as returning to a previous situation.

“We will not accept a return to the previous situation, and we call on officials to stop offering free concessions,” Qassem said in the statement.

He also referred to recent Israeli strikes, describing them as “bloody criminality on Wednesday,” after Lebanese authorities said Israeli attacks killed more than 300 people.

Hezbollah (Hezbollah) has continued to be engaged in hostilities with Israel amid ongoing cross-border fighting. The group’s leadership has repeatedly issued statements regarding developments linked to the conflict and upcoming diplomatic discussions.

The Lebanese government has not issued a detailed public response to Qassem’s latest remarks. The statement comes as Lebanon (Lebanon) and Israel prepare for negotiations expected to take place in Washington next week.

According to the report, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (Benjamin Netanyahu) announced that Israel would begin negotiations with Lebanon “as soon as possible.” The planned talks are intended to address issues including the disarmament of Hezbollah and the possibility of reaching a full peace agreement between the two countries.

The announcement follows continued exchanges of fire between Israel and Hezbollah along the Israel-Lebanon border. Both sides have reported strikes and counterstrikes in recent weeks, with military activity continuing across southern Lebanon and northern Israel.

Hezbollah has stated that its operations are in response to Israeli military actions, while Israel has said its operations are aimed at targeting Hezbollah positions and reducing threats.

The upcoming negotiations in Washington are expected to involve discussions between Israeli and Lebanese representatives. No additional details have been released regarding the format or agenda of the talks........…
