Otunba Segun Sowunmi, a well-known member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has spoken about his strong belief in Atiku Abubakar’s style of leadership. He said that if Atiku became president, he himself would quickly become governor because of the ideas he has and the understanding between them.
In an interview on THE VOLUME POD, Sowunmi explained that Atiku is the kind of leader who gives people the chance to try out their ideas, even when those ideas may not look sensible to others. He said Atiku does not stop people from expressing themselves, but instead allows them to test their thoughts and see how far they can go.
He said, “Atiku is the kind of guy that he would allow you people’s stupid ideas to run. I don’t know why he does that, but that is who he is. If he were president, I would be governor immediately because he knows the idea I carry, and we both know that.”.......…
