A single mother has stirred reactions on social media after sharing an emotional video in which she expressed regret over leaving her marriage, despite claiming that her husband repeatedly subjected her to physical abuse.

In the video circulating on X, the woman was seen crying as she recounted the difficulties she experienced during her marriage and explained why she eventually decided to leave.

According to her account, she had endured repeated beatings from her husband before reaching a point where she could no longer cope with the situation. She said she had previously sought advice from people about her troubled marriage, and many encouraged her to walk away.
She eventually followed their advice and left the relationship.
Despite leaving the marriage, the woman said the responsibilities and challenges she now faces as a single mother have become overwhelming.
Speaking through tears, she expressed exhaustion over her current circumstances and appeared to regret the decision she made after consulting others about her marriage.
She also directed angry words at those who advised her to leave, laying curses on them and wishing them hardship for encouraging her decision.
Speaking in yoruba while crying, she said: “The people that i told what i am passing through are the ones that made me a single mother today, my husband that i was married to does maruwa business (Keke driver) he would go out since around 4am and me i would wake up by 5am and quickly do my house chores and when i came i used to be tired and when my husband wants to sleep with me, he used to beat me and then the issues were too much and those people i used to tell my problem too then and i was told to leve my marriage and now that i am out it has been hard, to be a single mother is not easy”
