A young woman identified as Umuora Mmesoma has been found dead after she reportedly went missing on October 16, 2026, in Uga, Anambra State.

The case was brought to public attention by an X user identified as Chuks, who claimed that Mmesoma’s boyfriend, Chima, was responsible for her death following the end of their relationship.

According to the post, Chima was arrested in connection with the incident and confessed to killing Mmesoma because she broke up with him.
The statement attributed to him reads: “I killed her because she broke up with me. I killed her in my house in Uga, put her inside a bag and dumped her somewhere”
