President Bola Tinubu has paid a glowing tribute to First Lady Oluremi Tinubu on her 66th birthday, describing her as his truest friend, confidante, and pillar of support throughout their lives together.
In a personal message shared on his verified X handle on Monday, the President praised her patience, courage, and unwavering dedication through various seasons of life, noting that she has consistently shared his burdens and offered honest counsel during difficult times.
“Today, I celebrate the woman who has walked beside me with patience, grace and uncommon courage,” Tinubu wrote, citing a Yoruba adage, “A good wife is her husband’s crown.”
The President highlighted the First Lady’s extensive humanitarian work, ranging from the New Era Foundation during his tenure as Lagos State Governor to her current national platform, the Renewed Hope Initiative. He noted that her compassion has consistently reached young people, widows, elderly citizens, and women farmers across the country, transcending tribal, regional, and religious boundaries.
Tinubu also lauded her advocacy for public health issues, including her work supporting individuals affected by tuberculosis, alongside her devotion to raising their children and grandchildren with strong values of faith and kindness.
