The Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Oshodi-Isolo, Lagos has strengthened its grassroots operations with the commissioning of a new secretariat donated by Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo.
The facility, which is expected to serve as the chapter’s administrative and coordination centre, was commissioned as part of efforts to expand the organisation’s presence and activities across Oshodi, Isolo and Ejigbo ahead of the 2027 elections.
The ceremony also witnessed the inauguration of a newly constituted Chapter Executive Committee saddled with the responsibility of coordinating the group’s activities across the constituency.
Speaking at the event, the Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Coordinator of the organisation, Barr. Kayode Tinubu, thanked Akinsanya for providing the secretariat, describing the facility as an important boost to the chapter’s grassroots activities.
Tinubu said the new office would provide the group with a permanent base from which it could coordinate its programmes, engage residents and strengthen communication with communities across the constituency.
He said the facility would also enhance the chapter’s ability to organise meetings and other activities while providing a platform for sustained engagement with residents.
Inaugurating the new executives, the Lagos State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Tayo Ayinde, charged them to take the organisation’s grassroots engagement to the various wards and communities in Oshodi-Isolo.
Ayinde urged the executives to effectively communicate the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to residents, mobilise support and maintain regular engagement with voters ahead of the 2027 elections.
He stressed the need for the new executives to establish effective communication channels between the organisation and residents, saying sustained grassroots engagement would be critical to the group’s mobilisation efforts.
The event brought together APC leaders, political stakeholders and members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, including Cardinal James Odunmbaku, Chief Murainah Taiwo, MC Oluomo, Alhaji Olorunoje, Hon. Stephen Ogundipe, Hon. Monsuru Bello Obe, Hon. Taiwo Ayedun Shanana, Tpl. Daisi Oso, Hon. Hakeem Shokunle and Special Leader Israel Akiode.
The Ejigbo LCDA Chairman, Taoheed Taiwo, was also present, alongside traditional rulers, including the Ojon of Ejigboland and the Onikosi of Ikosi Awori.
Community representatives, religious leaders, ethnic nationality groups, progressive supporters and other political stakeholders also attended the ceremony.
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors said the new secretariat and the inauguration of the chapter executives marked a further step towards consolidating its grassroots structure and expanding its engagement with communities across Oshodi-Isolo.
The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots mobilisation, organisational development and participation in political and community activities across the constituency.
