Blessing CEO breaks down, apologies to general public after son’s death

Controversial Relationship therapist Blessing CEO and her partner, businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, have separately taken to social media to apologise to people they may have hurt.

Blessing CEO shared an emotional video of herself crying inside her car, explaining that she did not want her family, particularly her mother, to see her in that condition.

She admitted that she had spoken carelessly about a painful experience she had never personally encountered.

“I’m so sorry for speaking about the pain I know nothing about. I’m so sorry for speaking about the pain I’ve never felt. I’m sorry for speaking about it carelessly,” she said.

She added that words alone were not enough to make up for the hurt she caused, saying she was paying for her mistakes with her tears. She also described herself as exhausted and asked people to remember her in their prayers.

In a separate post, IVD addressed his family, friends and business partners, apologising to anyone he might have offended.

Describing the past five years as a period of endless battles, the businessman said he had been trying to make amends for his mistakes and had also prayed for God’s forgiveness and mercy.

“In any way I have hurt anyone, I pray for forgiveness. I’m only human, I’m not a perfect person,” he wrote.

He further described himself as a man who had received God’s mercy, adding that there was a time for everything, including reflection and refocusing.
