Nigerian businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, has publicly appealed for forgiveness from his family, friends and business associates over past mistakes.
The businessman made the appeal in a post shared on his social media page, where he reflected on what he described as five years of endless battles.
According to IVD, he has been making efforts to correct his past mistakes and make amends with those he may have offended along the way.
He also expressed his desire for God’s mercy and forgiveness, acknowledging that he is human and far from perfect.
Appealing directly to those he might have hurt, IVD asked them to find a place in their hearts to forgive him, adding that he has continued to pray for God’s mercy.
Sharing his message, he wrote:
“To my family, friends, and business partners, it’s been 5 years of endless battle, also trying to retract all my mistakes. I pray for God’s mercy and forgiveness for any way I have hurt anyone; I pray for forgiveness. I’m only human; I’m not a perfect person. I have prayed for God’s forgiveness and for Him to show me mercy.
Lastly, the Lord said, ‘There is a time for everything: time to reflect, time to focus.
I am that man whom God showed mercy’.”
