Nigerian media personality and hypeman Do2dtun has clapped back at a social media user who made controversial claims about the children of late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya.
The exchange began on November 2, 2026, after an X user commented on the family of the late pastor, reportedly following news of Jimmy Odukoya’s second marriage.
The comment did not sit well with Do2dtun, who had earlier shared his thoughts on the complexities of marriage and the challenges people face in relationships.
In his initial response, the entertainer explained that his statement that “two of her children are divorced” was not intended to suggest that Pastor Bimbo Odukoya had only two children.
He further clarified that his advice for people to “pray for grace” was based on his belief that some situations in life require divine mercy beyond human efforts.
However, an X user took a swipe at him, describing him as a “struggling OAP” who supposedly stumbled into an accidental career as a hypeman.
Reacting to the criticism in an Instagram post, Do2dtun defended his achievements, explaining that he had successfully turned hyping into a lucrative career that has created opportunities for others.
“At least you highlighted what I do very well, but what you didn’t do is talk about how a career I commercialized has become one of the best things to happen to entertainment. It feeds families. Oh, and I make a great living from it. If that’s struggling, I’ll take it.”
He also dismissed the suggestion that his broadcasting career was unsuccessful, insisting that he had an impressive record as an On-Air Personality before leaving the profession.
“As an OAP too; oh, I aced that so well and hung up my boots at the right time. The track record remains a legacy to this day. You just earned yours now with a stupid tweet. What a way to enter a hall of fame of idiots.”
Do2dtun, however, was particularly displeased with the claim that the remaining children of the late pastor were unmarried.
Describing the statement as false information, he accused the social media user of making claims without proper knowledge of the family.
“‘The rest are unmarried’ is a blatant LIE and misinformation. You wrote that out of usual display of ignorance. You goofed & the complexities of marriage don’t have anything to do with what you wrote. You just tweeted with the comfortable assumption that you are knowledgeable but you are not.”
