- King Mitchy, a social media personality, criticized a hotel staff member.
- The staff member allegedly requested payment for accommodation to a personal Opay account.
- This request deviated from the hotel’s official payment procedure.
Social media personality King Mitchy has called out a hotel staff member who allegedly asked her to transfer payment for her accommodation into his personal Opay account instead of the hotel’s official account.
The influencer reportedly raised concerns after the staff member requested that she make the payment to a personal account rather than follow the hotel’s official payment procedure.
King Mitchy subsequently exposed the incident on social media, drawing attention to the alleged conduct of the hotel employee.
The development has sparked conversations about trust, transparency and the need for customers to be cautious when making payments to hotels and other service providers.
Her action has also highlighted the importance of verifying payment details before transferring money, particularly when an employee provides a personal account instead of an officially recognised business account.

@Obiasogu David:”If the young man truly did what he’s accused of, he deserves punishment. But this “humiliation ritual” from King Mitchy, or whatever she’s called, is bullshit. Why switch on her camera and record the young man, when he’s being accused, and proceed to post it on social media? Clearly, the intent is to humiliate the young man and damage his reputation, while giving Mitchy some clout and social currency. Should everything be content or clout? Does the young man not deserve his right to privacy, even when he’s being accused? Does Mitchy even know that she could be sued for what she did and forced to cough up money for damages? Well, I don’t blame her. It is Nigerians who make celebs out of empty barrels with zero morals, that I blame.✍️”
@DGC TV:”Now you’ve sacked him and even he can be arrested. What would King Mitchy gain from the public embarrassment? She ought to have cautioned him personally! It’s not as if he defrauded her.”
@Victoria uranta/ Digital:”He did something wrong but this is tomuch, if he hard enough he wouldn’t have done what he did, now he is gonna be fired, possibly sued and getting another job will be difficult with the way things spreads so fast on the internet this days”
