Speaking on the matter, Joseph Aloba questioned why people were advising Toluwanisings’ family against handling the situation like Mohbad’s case, despite the concerns being raised about the living conditions of the singer’s father.
He said:
“Toluwanisings’ mother-in-law was living in a good house with AC, while his father lived in a ₦35,000-a-year room, yet people are saying they shouldn’t do the case like Mohbad’s.”
By making the comparison, Mohbad’s father appeared to suggest that Toluwanisings’ situation raises similar concerns to those surrounding his son’s death.
His remarks come amid the ongoing disagreement between Toluwanisings’ widow and his family over where the late singer should be buried, a dispute that has continued to generate reactions on social media.
