Former Big Brother Naija housemate Dorathy Bachor has broken her silence following growing speculation about her relationship with popular skitmaker Broda Shaggi.
The rumours started after a loved-up video of the pair surfaced online, showing them lying together in bed. What particularly caught the attention of social media users was a ring Dorathy appeared to display in the clip, prompting speculation that the comedian might have proposed to her.
The video quickly generated conversations, with many questioning whether the two entertainers had taken their relationship to the next level.
However, Dorathy appears unimpressed by the attention surrounding her personal life.
Reacting to the speculation, the reality TV star expressed frustration over people’s constant interest in her private affairs, insisting that she prefers to mind her business.
“For someone who minds her business, you people really love to poke me. Leave me alone,” she said.
Despite the engagement rumours, neither Dorathy nor Broda Shaggi has confirmed that they are engaged.
The speculation comes months after Broda Shaggi shared a romantic video featuring the BBNaija star, in which he openly expressed his affection for her.
In the post, the comedian revealed that he felt a special connection with Dorathy from the first day he set his eyes on her. He also described her as the woman he had been searching for, saying he had finally found his missing ribs.
More recently, Broda Shaggi publicly appreciated Dorathy for standing by him during a difficult period following his survival of a gunshot incident.
