A Nigerian woman has shared her encounter with a tricycle driver she paid 3,000 Naira weekly to take her children to school.
In a post on her X handle, @ahmedhalima02, the woman revealed she increased the weekly payment to 4,000 naira following the hike in fuel prices.

However, the tricycle driver never expressed gratitude for the increase in the payment.
Meanwhile, the school is a 10-minute walk from her house, yet her kids miss school on Fridays for certain reasons.
Although, the tricycle driver carries other passengers, she still paid him and even tipped him.
“Fast forward to this term, I instinctively increased his money to 4k weekly due to increment in fuel price. This man never for once acknowledged it or showed any gratitude”, She stated.
Woman Skips Weekly Payment
Meanwhile, she was occupied with her husband’s niece’s wedding and forgot the tricycle driver’s weekly pay.
Although the tricycle driver texted her about the situation, her daughter suggested stopping the payment, which she agreed to.
”My daughter saw it and said, no need to be wasting my money paying him, they can now go to school all by themselves. Feed humans for 10years and default just one day, they forget all you have done for 10years“,She added.
