Sani made the remarks on Saturday while visiting several polling units across Ado Ekiti to monitor the electoral process.
According to him, the outcome of the election will reflect the level of acceptance enjoyed by the Tinubu administration as well as the popularity of the APC in the state.
“This election will be a referendum of the works of President Tinubu and the performance of the Oyebanji government in Ekiti state”, he said.
The Kaduna governor also dismissed the strength of opposition parties in the state, arguing that their presence exists largely online rather than within local communities.
Accompanied by the APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, Sani later led journalists through the party’s situation room, where election results are being monitored through an artificial intelligence-powered system and cross-checked with field reports from officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
