The Action Alliance (AA) candidate for the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Sagbama Constituency II, High Chief (Hon.) Emmanuel Okosikeme, has received a major boost for his 2027 aspiration following a solidarity visit by the Amanana-Otu of the Creek (Mein-Oyiakiri) communities in Sagbama Local Government Area.
The respected traditional rulers, representing fifteen Creek communities, paid a royal courtesy visit to Hon. Okosikeme at his country home in Okumbiri Community, where they offered prayers and bestowed royal blessings on him.
During the visit, the monarchs described Hon. Okosikeme as a worthy ambassador of the Creek people whose dedication to community development and public service has earned him the admiration of his people. They urged him to remain focused, steadfast, and committed to advancing the welfare of the constituency.
The traditional rulers also expressed confidence in his leadership qualities and prayed for God’s guidance, protection, wisdom, and success as he prepares for the 2027 general election. They encouraged him to continue promoting unity and carrying the aspirations of the Creek communities with dignity and integrity.
Responding, Hon. Okosikeme expressed deep appreciation to the royal fathers for the honour and confidence they had shown him. He described their visit as both humbling and inspiring, assuring them that their prayers and encouragement would strengthen his resolve to serve the people with dedication and transparency.
He reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing policies and initiatives that would foster sustainable development, improve the welfare of the people, and ensure that Sagbama Constituency II receives effective and quality representation.
The visit further highlighted the cordial relationship between Hon. Okosikeme and the traditional institution across the Creek (Mein-Oyiakiri) communities.

The visit is regarded as a strong demonstration of traditional support for Hon. Okosikeme’s aspiration as political consultations ahead of the 2027 general election continue across Bayelsa State.
