A 35-year-old bride-to-be identified as Dulce María has died after undergoing liposuction in Mexico City ahead of her planned wedding in December.

Dulce reportedly underwent the cosmetic procedure on September 11 at an inmueble in the Del Valle area of Mexico City after finding Pink Glow Clinic through social media.
According to reports, Dulce had told her partner, Emir Kaleb, that she was going for treatment for uterine fibroids rather than revealing that she had planned to undergo liposuction.
She had reportedly been preparing for her wedding, which was scheduled for December.

Dulce reportedly attended a consultation on August 27 and paid around £3,300, equivalent to 80,000 Mexican pesos, in advance for the procedure.
Reports state that she had also fasted for almost 18 hours before arriving for the surgery.
However, the address where the procedure took place was different from the location where she had initially attended her consultation.
When her relatives arrived at the second location, they reportedly found what appeared to be a residential building rather than a clinic. Reports said there was no visible Pink Glow Clinic sign outside the building.
Dulce arrived at the location at around 1pm on September 11.
About two and a half hours later, her family was urgently contacted and asked to come to the location after her condition deteriorated.
According to the family, a doctor told them that Dulce had suffered significant blood loss before going into cardiorespiratory arrest. Her body was later removed by forensic officers after 7pm, and authorities secured the premises.
Her partner, Emir Kaleb, said a staff member came out with Dulce’s belongings several hours after she entered the building and instructed him to call an ambulance.
He also claimed that staff members attempted to resuscitate her using oxygen and chest compressions but appeared not to have the emergency equipment he expected to see.
Mexican authorities have launched an investigation into Dulce’s death and secured the property where the procedure took place.
Reports state that prosecutors are investigating suspected negligent homicide and other possible offences. No confirmed arrest had been reported in the available reports, and the identity of the person who performed the procedure had not been publicly released.
Dulce’s family also raised concerns about the conditions surrounding the procedure. Her sister reportedly noticed needle marks beneath her ribs and on her buttocks, although the significance of those marks has not been officially established.
The family further said Dulce had expressed concerns that the facility did not have a blood bank.
They also claimed that a doctor had been “very rough” during a pre-operative test involving cannulas and needle punctures.
Dulce’s son, Didier González, paid tribute to his mother and described her as a “warrior.”
The social media accounts associated with Pink Glow Clinic were later reported to have removed their posts.
