A video showing the moment people gathered to celebrate the birth of a baby after the mother reportedly carried the pregnancy for seven years has gone viral on social media.

In the footage, a group of Yoruba women could be seen gathered around the newborn while expressing their joy and thanking God in the Yoruba language.
One of the women could also be heard referring to the reported seven-year pregnancy as she celebrated the arrival of the child.

“7years of Pregnancy this is it this is a child of 7years,” the woman said in Yoruba.
When asked about the gender of the newborn, the woman responded that the baby was a boy.
