A video making the rounds on social media has captured the moment a man confronted his girlfriend after accusing her of going for ashawo work.

In the video, the man could be seen confronting the woman and assaulting her while expressing his anger over the situation.
He was heard saying:
“You dey mad, Nothing wey i never do for you, You dey do ashawo, You dey mad”

People who were around the scene gathered as they tried to stop the man from continuing to beat his girlfriend.
Some of the women at the scene could be heard questioning his actions, with one asking:
“why you con dey beat am”
The man, however, continued to explain why he was angry with his girlfriend, claiming that he had done everything for her but believed she was still involved in ashawo.
He said:
“Upon everything i dey do for the girl, that girl dey do ashawo so as i dey give thatg girl everything”
The situation became emotional as the man burst into tears while his friend tried to calm him down and advised him to relax.
