A Nigerian lady’s post revealing why her neighbour leaves his porch light on every night has left netizens in disbelief.
The lady, @BilkeesMoh on X, (formerly Twitter) disclosed that during rainfall around 2 a.m., she inquired from her neighbour about the reason for his action.

Upon inquiring, he looked at her and explained that a decade ago, his 17-year-old son fled home after an argument.
”Ten years ago my son ran away after an argument. He was 17. Angry. Proud.
I told him if he left, not to come back.”
The boy disappeared.No calls. No texts. Nothing.“But every night,” the old man said, “I leave the light on in case he forgets the way home”, The lady recounted how their conversation unfolded.
However, three weeks later, she woke up to shouts from outside and saw a man hugging her elderly neighbour, both trembling.
Meanwhile, his son, who was 27 years old during their reunion, admitted to driving past the house constantly for years.
