The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has released an updated appointment link for the United Kingdom (UK) Special Passport Intervention Exercise.
The NIS released the link for Nigerians interested in the exercise via the service’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Saturday.

The service said interested Nigerians should use the link: https://form.jotform.com/passportlondon/2026-passport-intervention-phase2 to take advantage of the extension.
This is coming after the NIS had earlier extended the UK special passport intervention exercise to run from October 6 to 30, following high turnout and sustained demand by Nigerians.
This is according to a statement issued by the Service Public Relation Officer, Deputy Comptroller of Immigration (DCI), Akinsola Akinlabi on Friday in Abuja.
Akinlabi said that the NIS, acting on the directive of the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, extended the exercise due to the high turn out and the sustained demand by Nigerians.
He therefore urged Nigerian communities in the UK to take advantage of the extension to renew their passports, and also take note of the venues for the intervention exercise.
According to him, the intervention will take place in London 56-57 Fleet St, Temple, London EC4Y 1JU, Manchester Nigerian House, 23 Platt Ln, Manchester M14 5NE and Aberdeen Hilton Convention Centre 13 Smithfield Road, Aberdeen, AB24 4NR.
He said that the venue for the exercise in Cardiff would be announced subsequently, hence, applicants are advised to keep tabs on the Nigeria High Commission’s website and the NIS official communication channels.
“Intending applicants may however proceed to book appointment via https://form.jotform.com/Nigeria_ict/2026-passport-intervention-exercise or through the Nigeria High Commission’s website.
“Applicant are to strictly adhere to their scheduled dates and times in order to ensure an orderly process, minimise delays, and enable the service to efficiently attend to all applicants throughout the exercise,” he said.
Akinlabi reaffirmed that the Contactless Passport Application System remained fully operational and encouraged eligible applicants to utilise the platform to renew their passports without having to visit any Nigerian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate.
He said that for further enquiries or assistance, applicants should contact the service through email via [email protected] or on WhatsApp using+234 916 087 8000.
For smooth enrollment, Akinlabi specified that applicants would be required to present a completed application form, proof of payments, Intervention Appointment Print Out, and a self-addressed return envelope.
He also clarified that cash payments would not be accepted at the venue and that presentation of applicant’s current passport was s mandatory for renewal cases.
He further reaffirmed the NIS’s commitment to efficient, transparent and responsive passport service delivery to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.
