Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, has broken his silence, saying he has been cleared of any wrongdoing after investigations into allegations surrounding his office.
Gbajabiamila, speaking at the 2026 Gbaja mega empowerment in Lagos on Saturday, reflected on the allegations against him and thanked those who stood by him during the period of scrutiny.
“The past few months have tested me in ways I never expected. Stories were written, strange accusations were made, lies were told, and my integrity was questioned,” he said.
According to him, relevant authorities eventually found the allegations to be without merit.
“At the end of all the investigations, the Nigerian Police, the DSS, the ICPC cleared me of any wrongdoing, and the investigative reports are in the public domain,” Gbajabiamila said.
The Chief of Staff said the experience showed the challenges that can accompany public service, particularly for people seeking high political office.
