Nigerian real estate billionaire businessman Mohammed Adah, better known as King Ochacho, has promised to spend $1 million to promote his son Ice King Ochacho’s upcoming album.
He announced this during a phone call with TikTok influencer Habeeb ‘Peller’ Hamzat, where he disclosed that he was ready to pay social media managers, influencers, and streamers to promote the album on their pages.
“All the influencers, all the social media handlers wey you get, if dem dey up to 1000, I go send all of them money, make everybody post Ice King album on their page to promote the album,” he said in pidgin English.
Ice King, whose real name is Shedrack Mohammed Adah, was born in Otukpo, Benue State, on August 6, 2013. He became interested in music at age seven and started freestyling and trying out rap.
The young rapper and Afrobeats singer is also a multi-instrumentalist who plays the drums, guitar, saxophone and clarinet.
He gained attention after a freestyle video went viral on social media, earning him the nickname ‘Wonder Kid’. He later released songs including ‘E Choke’, which had a remix featuring Teni.
In 2025, Ice King released his debut EP, ‘I’m Back’, a six-track project featuring songs such as ‘Ochacho Money’ and ‘Oh Papa’.
