Social media user Ebun has shared the story of a couple whose marriage reportedly ran into trouble after the husband discovered that his wife had given a lucrative job opportunity to her best friend instead of him.

According to Ebun, the woman’s husband had been without a stable job for about two years and had been taking on menial jobs on the street to support himself and his family.
She explained that the woman had access to a job opportunity with a monthly salary of N450,000. When the opportunity became available, her husband reportedly asked her to submit his name for the position.
However, the woman reportedly declined, explaining that she could not submit her husband’s name because they were married and would not be able to work in the same office.
Instead, according to Ebun, the woman gave the job slot to her best friend.
The situation reportedly took a different turn after the husband discovered what had happened. Ebun said the man became upset and eventually asked his wife for a divorce.
