Nigerian man Samuel Isaac Ogbonnaya has announced that his planned marriage to Miss Gift Oriaku will no longer take place.

The wedding was scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, but the groom announced that the ceremony had been called off following what he described as “irreconcilable developments” that arose.
In a statement shared on Facebook, Ogbonnaya informed members of the public about the cancellation and apologized for any inconvenience the decision may have caused.
He also appealed for prayers and support as he deals with the situation.
He wrote:
“Attention Please.
“Cancellation of Marriage. I, Mr Samuel Isaac Ogbonnaya wishes to use this medium to inform the general public that the wedding between myself, Mr Samuel Isaac Ogbonnaya and Miss Gift Oriaku slated to hold tomorrow, Saturday the 19th Day of September 2026 has been called off due to irreconcilable developments that just arose.
“I sincerely regret and apologize to everyone for any inconveniences this may have caused and I appeal that the public should pls bear with me even as I implore your continued prayers and support. May God bless everyone.”
