If This War Extends To Another 3 Weeks, Petrol Might Run To 1,800 to 2,000 If They Allow It-Ayodele

In a recent video on Facebook, Nigerian cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele has warned that a prolonged conflict between Israel and Iran could trigger severe economic and security consequences, particularly for oil-dependent nations like Nigeria.

Speaking during a recent address, Ayodele cautioned that the global energy market could face significant disruption if the war drags on. “If this war extends to another three weeks, it should be something else because to get petrol now, petrol might run to 1,800 to 2,000 if they allow it,” he said, highlighting fears of a sharp spike in fuel prices.

He also predicted a corresponding rise in gas prices, noting that the ripple effects would be felt across multiple sectors. “Gas will be very, very increased,” Ayodele added, urging world leaders to act swiftly to prevent further escalation.

Calling for de-escalation, the cleric suggested that diplomatic efforts should take priority over continued confrontation. “They must quickly do something. Admit, submit, call Iran to order, beg them that we have offended you. Sorry. Just say sorry and let there be more peace,” he said.

Beyond global concerns, Ayodele turned his attention to Nigeria’s internal security challenges, warning of potential instability. “I told you that everywhere in Nigeria is insecure. Everywhere,” he stated, raising alarm over the country’s vulnerability.

He also hinted at the possibility of future attacks in parts of the country. “There will be bombing in some strategic states,” Ayodele said, referencing past incidents and urging authorities to remain vigilant.
