Plans to Study English Language at University
The young man shared that he is now interested in studying English Language at the university level.
Scores Higher Than His First Attempt
Despite the long gap, the man recorded a better result than his previous one. He scored 285 in the 2026 UTME, surpassing the 261 he got during his first attempt years ago.
He proudly shared a screenshot of his result to back up his claim. In his words:
“At 37, I want to go back to school to study English language after studying Mass Communication for four years.
So I wrote JAMB in 2026.
Here’s my JAMB result.
I scored 285, more than the 261 I scored when I first wrote the exam 16 years ago.
I literally didn’t read for this exam. I only managed to complete “The Lekki Headmaster” and the “Marriage of Anansewa” and recommended poems.
I didn’t open any CRK books, I didn’t read anything else in English or Government.
I hope to get the admission so I can get another degree.”
