Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has declared her support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence that he will secure another victory.
The actress praised Tinubu’s administration for introducing what she described as beneficial reforms, particularly in the areas of taxation and education.
Speaking about her decision to campaign and vote for the president, Eniola insisted that Nigerians should acknowledge the achievements of his administration rather than ignore them.
According to her, the Tinubu government has introduced several reforms that are already benefiting Nigerians, including the tax reforms and the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
She also commended the president’s efforts in the education sector, saying he deserved to be applauded for his contributions.
Explaining why she is supporting his re-election bid, Eniola said:
“Tinubu Has Done a Lot For Nigeria. Some Nigerians Don’t Like The Truth, Especially When It Concerns President Tinubu. He Has Introduced So Many Good Reforms That Nigerians Are Now Benefiting From, Including The Tax Reforms And NELFUND. Tinubu Has Done Well In The Education Sector And Should Be Applauded For That. That’s Why I’m Campaigning And Voting For Him, And He Will Win.
“Some People Think Elections Are Won On Social Media. Being Popular On Social Media Does Not Guarantee That You Will Win An Election. The Grassroots Are The Key, And Tinubu Has Them.”
Eniola further argued that social media popularity does not necessarily translate into electoral victory, stressing that grassroots support plays a major role in determining election outcomes.
She maintained that Tinubu has a strong grassroots political structure, which she believes will give him an advantage in the 2027 presidential election.
