TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has explained why Afrobeats star Davido was absent from his traditional wedding to Jarvis.
Peller addressed the singer’s absence during a live session with fans, dismissing speculation that Davido failed to attend because of a disagreement between them.
The TikToker said Davido remains one of his biggest supporters and has always treated him with affection.
Peller clears air over Davido’s absence
According to Peller, Davido’s busy schedule was the reason he could not attend the wedding ceremony, rather than any issue between the two celebrities.
Peller said, “Davido treats me like his son. He was very busy, that’s why he couldn’t attend my wedding. I love him so much.”
His clarification came after Davido’s absence from the ceremony generated conversations online, with some fans questioning whether there was an issue between the pair.
The two celebrities have previously attracted attention online after appearing together during a TikTok livestream that reportedly drew a huge audience.
