Today marks the 31st birthday anniversary of popular Nigerian singer and Grammy award-winning artist, Wizkid Ayo.

Wizkid is currently trending on social media with the #[email protected], which is part of plans to make his day a memorable one. They have also shared stunning photos of the singer coupled with sweet messages to mark his day.

Wizkid has achieved a lot over the years as recently, his song, Essence, which is part of his Made in Lagos album, made a historic entry into the United States Billboard Hot 100 this week. The song featured upcoming female musician, Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems. It peaked at the #82 spot in the chart.

The Billboard Hot 100 brings the top most-streamed song of all genres in the U.S methods of streaming include official audio, video, radio play and sales data. This entry made Wizkid the first Nigerian to have his song on the chart.
