A woman reportedly stormed into a compound late at night asking for her husband, only to discover that the man was living there with another woman whom residents had believed was his wife.
The incident reportedly unfolded after the woman was directed to the compound by her husband’s friend, who allegedly revealed that the man had rented an apartment there for another woman.
According to a resident who shared the story, neighbours had lived in the compound for almost two years and believed the man and the pregnant woman were married.
Two women reportedly discover the truth
The resident said the man became angry when he saw the woman and started shouting, asking who had told her where he was.
The woman who lived in the compound later came outside, and the two women reportedly saw each other for the first time.
According to the account, the first woman already had two children with the man and was pregnant again, while the other woman also had children with him and had allegedly been promised marriage.
The resident said the situation became heated, with the man allegedly attempting to intimidate the woman before neighbours intervened.
Woman leaves compound after confrontation
The resident said the woman later left the compound, promising to return with her belongings, but had not returned at the time the account was shared.
“She has not returned, and nobody knows where she is or whether she is safe,” the resident said.
The incident has prompted discussion about honesty and responsibility in relationships, particularly where multiple families are involved.
The resident urged men to be truthful rather than maintain separate relationships and families without the knowledge of those involved.
