A husband has shared the painful thought he uses to appreciate his marriage whenever he becomes upset with his wife.
In an emotional reflection, the man imagined what it would feel like to meet another man who had won his wife’s heart, saying the experience would force him to confront everything he once took for granted.
He said watching another man make his wife laugh and seeing the way she responded to him would make him realise the value of the woman he once thought he would spend the rest of his life with.
Husband reveals what makes him choose his wife
The man said the thought of losing his wife makes him reconsider moments when small disagreements could push him away from her.
He said, “That’s what I imagine whenever I’m annoyed with my wife. Whenever something small makes me want to pull away, I imagine another man getting all the little pieces of her that I have right now.”
According to him, imagining another man enjoying the things he currently has with his wife reminds him not to take their relationship for granted.
He added, “So I swallow my pride, soften my voice and choose her again.”

The husband said his biggest fear is meeting the person his wife could eventually fall in love with after their relationship has ended.
