A Nigerian lady has gone viral on social media after opening up about her surprising experiences with men on Instagram, claiming she has received large sums of money from strangers without any prior relationship.
In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she revealed that some men randomly slide into her direct messages and immediately offer to “appreciate her beauty” with cash gifts, often without even knowing her personally.
Sharing her experience, she said:
“Somebody has given me ₦200k in just one conversation. He said, ‘Hi pretty, can I appreciate your beauty?’ I said yes. He asked for my account number, sent ₦50k, then later sent ₦150k to fix my phone.”
The lady went on to explain that such gestures have become a regular occurrence for her, as different men frequently send her money for personal expenses such as food, beauty care, and other daily needs.
However, she pointed out a noticeable difference between Instagram and TikTok users, stating that she has not experienced the same level of generosity on TikTok despite having many admirers on the platform.
“But TikTok guys? I have over 100 requests and not one has said, ‘send your account number.’ You guys are stingy,” she added.
Her revelation has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many users expressing disbelief, amusement, and curiosity about her experience.
One user wrote, “Na where una dey see this kind people?” while another joked, “TikTok boys be catching straight bullet 😂”
