Lagos Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has joined the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) in celebrating the Mountain Top Chorale following its outstanding performance at the 2026 World Choir Games in Helsingborg, Sweden.
Sanwo-Olu, accompanied by his wife, Dr Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, attended a special homecoming and thanksgiving concert organised to honour the choir’s achievement at the international competition.
The Mountain Top Chorale returned home with two gold medals, bringing recognition and honour to MFM and Nigeria.

The celebration featured musical performances, praise and thanksgiving as members of the ministry and guests expressed gratitude to God for the choir’s success.
Speaking during the event, Sanwo-Olu commended the ministry for its accomplishments and expressed delight at being part of the celebration.
“I want to say how truly proud I am of the headquarters of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, to the place where the children of God are doing wonders,” the governor said.
He also thanked the church for hosting the event and acknowledged the leadership of the ministry.
The Mountain Top Chorale’s latest achievement further highlights its growing presence in international choral competitions. The choir had previously won two gold medals at the 2024 World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand.
The 2026 victory was attributed to the dedication, discipline, teamwork and musical excellence of the chorale, alongside the support provided by the ministry.
The homecoming concert provided an opportunity to celebrate the choristers and recognise their contribution to promoting Nigeria’s choral music on the global stage.
The event also reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to developing musical talents and using music as an instrument of worship and thanksgiving.
