The President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku, FNIPR, has commiserated with the immediate past President of the Institute, Alhaji Mukhtar Zubairu Sirajo, FNIPR, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Asiya Zubairu Sirajo.
In a condolence message, Dr. Neliaku described the passing as a great loss to the Sirajo family and the NIPR community. He extended heartfelt sympathies to Alhaji Mukhtar Sirajo and the entire family.
The NIPR President prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive Hajiya Asiya her shortcomings, accept her good deeds, and grant her Aljannah Firdaus. He also prayed for comfort, peace, and strength for the bereaved family.
In line with the President’s directive, the Institute sent a high-powered delegation to represent NIPR at the funeral in Kaduna. The delegation was led by Council Member, Musa Bashir Usman, FNIPR.
Other members of the delegation were: Brig. Gen. Sani Kukasheka, rtd, FNIPR – Council Member; Mal. Mohammed Abdullahi, anipr – Chairman, NIPR Kaduna State Chapter; Mal. Haroun Malami, MNIPR – Immediate Past Chairman, NIPR Kaduna State Chapter; Mr. Adeleke Saheed – Secretary, NIPR Kaduna State Chapter; Mal. Mohammed El-Nafaty – former Chairman, NIPR Kaduna State Chapter and the Honourable Commissioner of Information, Kaduna State.
The funeral prayer was held at Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi Mosque, Tudun Wada, Kaduna, after which the burial took place at Bachama Road Cemetery, Tudun Wada, Kaduna, according to a statement by Latifah Ismail, Public Relations Officer (PRO), NIPR Kaduna Chapter.
During the visit, Musa Bashir Usman presented a condolence letter to the family on behalf of the President, Council, and the entire membership of NIPR.
Responding, Alhaji Mukhtar Zubairu Sirajo expressed profound gratitude to Dr. Neliaku, the Council, and members of NIPR for their prayers, solidarity, and physical presence.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to bless and reward the President, Council Members, and the entire NIPR family.
