A lady has sparked reactions on social media after sharing how her neighbour had her husband arrested for secretly selling a piece of land that belonged to her.
The incident, which reportedly occurred within their community, has left residents stunned, especially because the couple had never been known to have public disagreements.
According to the her, the land had been inherited by the woman from her late father.
She explained that the property was given to her because she was the only daughter among four siblings, while her brothers inherited houses and other family assets.
The woman showed the land documents to her husband after their marriage and even took him to inspect the property.

“Omo, my neighbour just used police to arrest her own husband,” the lady said while narrating the incident.
“Apparently, her late dad left her a piece of land because she’s the only girl among four brothers. After she got married, she innocently showed her husband the land documents and even took him there herself.”
The narrator said the woman recently visited the property with plans to begin developing rental apartments after years of saving money.
Husband linked to land sale
“She got there and met people already laying a foundation. After asking questions, she discovered her husband had sold the land to one of his friends, someone she even knew personally,” she claimed.
“She didn’t argue. She didn’t shout. She didn’t ask for an explanation. She went straight to the police station.”
