A heartbreaking tragedy has occurred, as a 25-year-old man has been charged with the murders of his mother and 15-year-old sibling, just days after being released from prison.

Da’ron Donta Jenkins has been charged with two counts of murder following the deaths of his mother and his younger brother, Daryn.

The tragic event unfolded shortly after Da’ron’s release from prison on March 25th, where he had been serving time for offenses including break-and-enter and larceny.
Before the incident, Da’ron had taken to Facebook to share his excitement about being home, writing: “My mf sic baby!! My baby is home!! Lord I thx u.”
However, just days later, around 5:30 p.m. on Monday, police received a call from Snowden Drive and arrived to find two lifeless bodies inside the home.
Da’ron was arrested and is currently being held in Wilson County.
In a statement to ABC 11, Da’ron’s cousin, Juanilla Kornegay, expressed saying: “I would have never thought that,’ she said. ‘I would never have thought he would do something like that.
“I can see her smile right now. She always smiled. She went to work and came home. She took care of her youngest son.
