A young man has sparked conversations online after sharing how a lady allegedly lost interest in him because he was using an Android phone, only to suddenly change her attitude after spotting his iPhone moments later.
In a post that has gone viral on social media, the man recounted how he approached the lady shortly after an event and initially enjoyed a smooth conversation with her.
According to him, both of them were laughing and engaging naturally during the discussion before things took an unexpected turn.
He explained that the lady’s behaviour changed immediately after his Android phone beeped and he brought it out to reply to a message.
The man claimed the lady suddenly became distant, started giving short responses, and appeared uncomfortable during the interaction.
“She started giving one-word replies, giving a dry smile, and doing that thing ladies do by scratching the back of their neck or hair when they’re uncomfortable,” he said.
He added that the lady quickly ended the conversation by saying she needed to leave urgently.
However, the situation reportedly changed again moments later when his friend called his iPhone, which he had kept in his pocket.
According to him, the lady’s attitude shifted instantly after seeing the device.
“The funny thing is, my iPhone was inside my pocket the whole time. The Android was just my main phone,” he explained.
Reflecting on the encounter, the man criticised people who judge others based on material possessions or perceived social status.
“Some people only react to you based on their personal measure of your status. If you’re like this, you need to stop that mentality,” he added.
