In a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Ken Asogwa, on Sunday, the party explained that the timetable complies with the 1999 Constitution (as amended), the Electoral Act 2026, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) revised election calendar for 2027.

The sale of nomination and expression of interest forms is expected to begin on May 6, 2026, and close on May 16, 2026. Submission of completed forms will run from May 17 to May 18, 2026.

Screening of aspirants is scheduled for May 20 for state assembly and governorship contestants, while National Assembly and presidential screening will take place on May 22. Results of the screening will be made public on May 23.

Appeals arising from the screening exercise will be handled shortly after, with House of Assembly and governorship appeals set for May 24, and National Assembly and presidential appeals fixed for May 25. The final list of cleared candidates will be released on May 26, 2026.

On fees, the party announced that House of Assembly aspirants will pay ₦3 million in total, House of Representatives ₦5 million, and Senate ₦10 million. Governorship aspirants are required to pay ₦25 million, while presidential aspirants will pay ₦50 million.

However, it stated that women, youths aged 25–30, and persons with disabilities will only pay for expression of interest forms across all categories as part of its inclusion policy.

The party also urged all intending aspirants who are not yet registered members to complete their membership through its ongoing e-registration exercise before midnight of May 4, 2026, ahead of the primaries.
