Temi Nkem has emerged winner of the 11th season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), tagged ‘Show Ya Sef’, taking home the N160 million grand prize.
The 21-year-old was announced as the winner during the grand finale of the reality television show on Sunday.
Nkem, who competed against Aikou, Sheba, Barry, Oyin, Tram, Ricky, Flora and Bluethopia, emerged at the top after weeks of tasks, nominations and evictions.
The competition began with 24 housemates, comprising 12 males and 12 females.
Although 10 housemates initially made it to the finale, Keivo was disqualified on Tuesday following an incident of violent conduct.
Ahead of the finale, Big Brother, the authoritative voice of the reality show, announced that the winner would receive N90 million in cash alongside N70 million worth of additional prizes.
The show also revealed that the most influential housemates of the season would share N10 million.
Barry was the first housemate to leave during the finale, finishing in ninth position, while Oyin was subsequently evicted.
Ricky and Flora followed in seventh and sixth positions respectively, while Tram ended the competition in fifth place.
Bluethopia was announced as the third runner-up, with Sheba finishing as the second runner-up.
Temi Nkem, whose real name is Temitope Chigbue, eventually took the top prize, while Aikou finished as the first runner-up.
The victory means Nkem will claim the N160 million prize, described as the biggest grand prize in the history of BBNaija since the reality show debuted in 2006.
The 11th season premiered on July 12 with 24 housemates competing for the ultimate prize.
