A man has stirred intense reactions on social media after advising adults above the age of 30 without children to delay parenthood and focus on personal freedom.
Controversial remarks ignite online reactions
The comments, shared in a viral video earlier this week, highlighted the challenges of raising children and the lifestyle adjustments that come with it.
His remarks have since divided opinions, with some agreeing on the financial and emotional demands of parenting, while others criticized his tone and description of children.
“If you’re above the age of 30 and you still don’t have kids you are not missing anything. Just stay where you are, continue doing what you’re doing right now. Travel the world… because once you start having those idiots your life is over. You can’t do anything,” he said.
Parenting pressures and economic realities
The man went on to describe his personal experience raising multiple children, citing constant supervision, lack of rest, and family stress as major challenges.
His comments also touched on the strain parenting can place on relationships, further fueling debate about readiness and timing for having children, especially amid economic uncertainty.
“Now me I have multiple of them. One is chewing a wire, the other one is swallowing a coin… you can’t even sleep at night. Just going to the mall, you have to pack diapers… then your wife is also angry… if you’re above 30 and you’ve not started, stay where you are,” he added.
