Popular Plateau-based pastor, Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, has alleged that he is receiving death threats following recent attacks in Plateau State, claiming suspected Fulani herdsmen have vowed to kill another member of his church after wiping out nine of his siblings in a deadly attack.
Speaking emotionally in a viral video, the cleric said he would rather be arrested than continue living in fear while mourning the loss of his loved ones.

“Under the Muslim-Muslim ticket they want to finish us. Please, I’m waiting for my arrest. It will be far better for me to be in police custody, army custody or guard room than to be outside crying every day, mourning, suffering and comforting my people,” he declared.
The outspoken reverend claimed he recently received a letter, allegedly sent by suspected armed men, threatening to kill another member of his church in the same manner his relatives were allegedly killed.
He also disclosed that youths in his community have intensified their self-defence efforts while calling for increased security presence in Bakin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
“They sent me a letter saying they will kill my member the way they killed my brother. If anything happens to my member, there will be mass revolution in Plateau State. Our patience does not mean we are cowards. We are in pain,” he added.
Dachomo urged security agencies to strengthen security in the area, warning that any fresh attack could trigger widespread unrest.
His comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing concern over the security situation in Plateau State, while others called on the authorities to investigate his claims and ensure the safety of affected communities.
