‎However, on the eighth day he discovered that whenever there was power supply, his apartment was bypassed.
‎
‎Upon informing the agent, he was referred to the landlord who suggested topping up the meter.
‎
‎Meanwhile, he discovered an unpaid electricity bill of over ₦500,000 and that until the debt is cleared, he would only access half of the unit he recharges on the meter.

‎
‎Reactions Trailing Below…….

Prince Daniel remarked, “This is really sad. That’s why I don’t even fancy this meter stuff”.
‎
‎Oreofe wrote, “This is exactly why transparency matters during house hunting. Outstanding utility debts should be disclosed before a tenant pays, not after moving in”.
‎
‎Creative Yuha emphasized, “This thing happens a lot, bro. It’s so annoying”.
‎
‎MummyIjay added, “This is another critical angle to look out for when getting a new apartment. The previous owners must have been involved in bypass.
‎They conveniently left out that information”.
