FG Sends ₦20,000 NERSI Payment Messages to Selected Beneficiaries — How to Accept

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has confirmed that the Drug Integrity Test (DIT) for shortlisted applicants under the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) recruitment is free.

According to the agency, the Ministry of Interior has made bulk payment to cover testing for new intakes into the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The exercise is scheduled to begin on November 2, 2026. Candidates must not pay NDLEA officials, testing centres or anyone claiming to facilitate the process.

Applicants are required to access the NDLEA Drug Integrity Test platform through the designated link on their recruitment portals. Registration and documentation must be completed before proceeding for the test.

The announcement follows concerns about applicants being asked to pay for drug screening despite assurances that the exercise would be covered by the government.

Candidates should use official recruitment portals and avoid unofficial links, agents or messages demanding payment. The Ministry of Interior has paid the test fee.

How to prepare

Shortlisted candidates should follow the instructions for the Drug Integrity Test on the official CDCFIB recruitment portal at https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng/. When scheduling their test, they should select November 2, 2026, or a later available date.

Candidates should keep their Drug Test Application Slip and a valid means of identification, such as their National Identification Number (NIN) slip or National ID, ready for the test.

The test is free. Do not pay anyone or use an unofficial link to book.
