FG TVET Batch C: Training Centre Selection Still Ongoing — See What Applicants Should Do

The Federal Ministry of Education’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Initiative has notified some Batch C (Cohort 3) applicants that training centre placement is still ongoing.

A message on the portal asks applicants to check regularly for available centres and select one as soon as it appears.

This does not mean that the affected applicants have been rejected or that placement has ended. However, it does not confirm when additional centres will become available or whether every applicant will receive placement.

Usually, this happens when there is no approved training centre for a particular course near an applicant’s selected location. FME introduced this update to prevent applicants from having to travel longer distances to centres. That said, applicants should rely on the portal for updates and avoid unofficial claims about selection at this stage.

What to do

Log in to the TVET portal, check the centre-selection page regularly and choose an available centre when listed. Follow any further instructions displayed. If no centre appears, continue checking. Make sure you select a centre that is closer to you.
