The Federal Government has begun paying a ₦25,000 training allowance to some beneficiaries of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), with payment alerts shared by trainees on Wednesday, November 4.
Screenshots circulating online show two separate ₦25,000 credits dated November 4, 2026. One alert was displayed on a basic mobile phone, while another showed a bank transaction credited to an account.
However, the disbursement does not appear to have reached everyone. Some trainees are still complaining that the allowance has not reflected in their accounts, raising questions about the timing and coverage of the payments.
The reports follow earlier complaints by NDE programme participants over delayed or incomplete stipends. In October, some trainees also shared evidence of ₦25,000 credits, while others said they were yet to receive their payments.
The alerts indicate that another round of payments is reaching some beneficiaries. They do not establish that every trainee is eligible for this payment or that the entire disbursement has been completed.
What happens next
Trainees who have not received the allowance should check their account balance and transaction history, confirm that their bank details are correct, and contact their training coordinators or the relevant NDE office for clarification. They should also monitor official NDE communication channels for payment updates from NDE authorities.
Beneficiaries should avoid anyone demanding money to release, process or fast-track the allowance. No payment should be made to an agent based on an unofficial promise.
